EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD REMOTELY:
A progressive organisation is reshaping resource management. They need a dynamic Remote/Hybrid Resource Consents Team Leader to pioneer their team, blending innovation with tradition for community development's future.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead the Resource Consents Team, ensuring adherence to regulatory procedures, particularly under the Resource Management Act 1991.
- Manage timely processing of resource consent applications and related decisions.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems to support the team's statutory obligations.
CONTRIBUTION TO MISSION:- Lead and develop a high-performing team aligned with the organisations values.
- Collaborate with management to set strategic direction for resource management.
- Enhance customer experience and satisfaction through effective complaint handling and continuous improvement initiatives.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Conduct staff appraisals and oversee performance indicators.
- Coordinate staff training and ensure compliance with policies.
- Contribute to policy development and process enhancements.
- Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and ensure consistent decision-making.
- Support community confidence in legislative compliance.
- Foster cultural sensitivity and awareness in all interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Tertiary qualification in resource management.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience.
- Minimum two years of staff management experience.
- Desired skills include report writing, resilience, and flexibility.
- Commitment to community welfare and continual improvement.
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.
